The hotel was conveniently located near a subway station, which made it easy to explore the city during the New Year holiday. They also provided fresh towels and toiletries, so I didn't have to worry about packing those things. the room had a small fridge and a TV, which were both helpful during my stay. It was a good choice for a budget hotel.
I didn't find the hotel to be very welcoming. It felt like a bit of an impersonal experience, and I didn't see any staff members during my stay.

Rainbow Village is an exceptional place to stay in Tokyo, close to major tourist attractions, supermarkets, and only a few blocks away from the nearest subway station. The rooms are incredibly clean, very well organized and provide every little detail you might need, from microwave to toiletries and hair dryer. Service is top-notch, with friendly and responsive staff always ready to help you out. Facilities are outstanding, carefully thought to accommodate every traveller's needs, making your stay very practical and comfortable.
The walls are thin, and you might hear the neighbor's noise from time to time.

We had a very pleasant stay at Rainbow Village. The location was great, near Ueno jr station and within walking distance of nice restaurants and bars in Asakusa. The room was basic but clean, with all the necessary amenities provided. The street of the hostel itself was quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. I would definitely recommend Rainbow Village for a budget-friendly stay in a convenient location.
